Creating Timeline in PowerPoint

Creating Timeline in PowerPoint
Today in this module during searching how to make an interactive PowerPoint template I learned a very important technique of creating timeline by using PowerPoint: That If we want to create a graphical representation of a sequence of events, such as the progress of learning in a subject or the main events of a person's life, we can use a Smart Art graphic timeline. After we create the timeline, we can add more dates, move dates, change layouts and colors, and apply different styles.
We can create timeline in power Points as follow:
1.    On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Smart Art.
2.    In the Choose a Smart Art Graphic gallery, click Process, and then double-click a timeline layout (such as Basic Timeline).
3.  To enter your text, do one of the following: Click [Text] in the Text pane, and then type your text.

Educators may find timelines a useful strategy for a variety of educational purposes. They can be used to record events from a story or a history lesson in a sequential format. They can help students keep events in chronological order as they write summaries. Both educators and parents can use timelines to help students organize information in a chronological sequence so that they can better understand growth, change, recurring events, cause and effect, and key events of historical, social, and scientific significance.
