Convert pictures on a slide to a SmartArt graphic

Convert pictures on a slide to a Smart Art graphic
In this Blog I am going to introduce to my colleague an important way for designing the power point which I used to improve my coming slides in power point: this skill is about converting pictures to a Smart Art graphic: that is to say that in addition to converting text on our slide to a Smart Art graphic, we can convert pictures into Smart Art graphics. The pictures are automatically put in shapes and arranged based on the layout we chose.
Practically we can illustrate the way of Converting pictures to a Smart Art graphic as follow :
       *   Firstly we Select the pictures that we want to convert to a Smart Art graphic.( To select multiple pictures, we click the first picture, and then press and hold CTR L while we click the additional pictures) .

*Under Picture Tools on the Format tab in the Picture Styles group, click Picture Layout. Shows the Picture Layout button on the Format tab
        *    In the gallery, we click the layout for the Smart Art graphic that we want.  The gallery contains layouts for Smart Art graphics that work best with pictures.
        * After we select a layout for a Smart Art graphic, the pictures are     automatically put in shapes and arranged based on the layout that we chose.
*We can then add text to our Smart Art graphic and customize the Smart Art graphic by changing the colors or adding a Smart Art Style to it.
I think using this technique will help all of us ( me and my peers) in making good presentation to our audiences and learners for good illustration for our topic : by using images and text at the same time , this will make them understand fast and they will not forget the topics .

Creating Timeline in PowerPoint

Creating Timeline in PowerPoint Today in this module during searching how to make an interactive PowerPoint template I learned a very important technique of creating timeline by using PowerPoint: That If we want to create a graphical representation of a sequence of events, such as the progress of learning in a subject or the main events of a person's life, we can use a Smart Art graphic timeline. After we create the timeline, we can add more dates, move dates, change layouts and colors, and apply different styles. We can create timeline in power Points as follow: 1.     On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Smart Art. 2.     In the Choose a Smart Art Graphic gallery, click Process, and then double-click a timeline layout (such as Basic Timeline). 3.   To enter your text, do one of the following: Click [Text] in the Text pane, and then type your text. Educators may find timelines a useful strategy for a variety o...

Summative Assessment

Summative Assessment Last blog I take the formative assessment as a subject matter for that blog, and because in the other hand standing the other type of assessment, so it became an obligation to discuss the Summative assessment (or summative evaluation) which refers to the assessment of participants where the focus is on the outcome of a program. This contrasts with formative assessment, which summarizes the participants' development at a particular time. Summative assessment is widely taught in educational programs.   The goal of summative assessment is to evaluate student learning at the end of an instructional unit by comparing it against some standard or benchmark. Summative assessments may be distributed throughout a course, after a particular unit (or collection of topics) have been taught, and there are advantages to doing so. In many disciplines there has been a move away from 100% end of course assessments, to a model where summative assessments are distributed...
